The Chiefettes, McIntosh High School's dance squad, will offer two camp sessions this summer.

Camp one will run June 21-25, while camp two will be July 12-16. Each camp runs 9:30 a.m. to noon at McIntosh High School.

The camp is open to girls 5 and up. Students will learn warm up techniques and proper stretching exercises, as well as several dance routines that will be performed during a special recital at the end of each camp. Each camp will teach new routines. Each camp costs $65, or $120 for both. The fee includes a t-shirt and daily refreshments.

The junior varsity cheerleaders of McIntosh also will have two camps this summer, open to boys and girls in grades one through eight. Participants will learn the basics of cheerleading, including chants, motions, jumps and cheers.

Camp one runs June 21-25 from 1:30-4 p.m. Camp two runs Aug. 2-6 from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Cost is $60, which includes a t-shirt, snacks and other surprises.
