A man convicted Monday in Fayette County State Court of criminal trespass at a Peachtree City residence will serve 12 months in jail.

Darrin Johnson was acquitted of another criminal trespass charge as well as one count of disorderly conduct. He pled not guilty to all three charges.

On the count for which he was convicted, Johnson was accused of intentionally damaging the front door of 205 Kings Court in Peachtree City, according to court records.

He also was accused of entering the premises after receiving prior notice that he was forbidden to do so, and acting in a violent manner.
