A team from Prudential Georgia Realty has been chosen to market the remaining homes in Thorne Berry, Jerry Ballard Homes' 67-home community on Jonesboro Road in Henry County. New marketing team members in the community are Ann Herring and Amy Huber of Prudential Georgia Realty. Since taking over the marketing duties in Thorne Berry, the two have closed one new home sale and have two more homes under contract. There are 18 home sites in the third and final phase, and some of them are among the largest in the development, ranging in size from two-thirds of an acre to two acres. Still on the market in this phase are four homes and nine home sites. The community, at the intersection of Jonesboro and Farmer roads, has homes priced $125,000 and up. Phase one is sold out, and only three homes are available in phase two. The homes in Thorne Berry have vinyl exteriors with brick, stucco or stacked stone accents. The community has a swimming pool, play and basketball areas, streetlights, underground utilities, and facilities for cable television. Thorne Berry is one and one-half miles west of Interstate 75 and is a short drive from U.S. Highway 41/19. The community is in the Eagle's Landing school district.
