First homeowners move into the Courtyards

The Courtyards, a new community of low maintenance patio homes in Newnan being built by Meyer-Sutton Homes, has welcomed its first new homeowners with more moving in soon.

The new community is in the White Oak area on Shenandoah Boulevard in Newnan, just south of Ga. Highway 34. The builder is Meyer-Sutton Homes, one of south Atlanta's leading home builders, and 80 homes priced from $102,900 to $109,000 will be constructed.

Several homes are already sold. Fourteen new inventory homes are currently under construction with four of these ready for move-in.

The Courtyards is within walking distance of the new movie theater and bowling alley, as well as shopping and dining establishments, and it is a short drive from White Oak golf course, soccer fields and other recreation facilities.

The two-bedroom homes were custom designed by Garrell and Associates Inc. of Atlanta specifically for The Courtyards. Three different plans are offered, including two ranch styles and one two-story, and there is a choice of a one- or two-car garage.

Special features include vaulted ceilings, formal dining areas with architectural columns, large living rooms with fireplaces, and enormous gourmet kitchens with white cabinets. Extensive landscaping and privacy fences also are included.

The community's builder is Meyer-Sutton Homes, a firm whose principals have real estate construction and mortgage banking experience spanning nearly 15 years.

The company also is building in The Vineyards at Eagle's Landing, BraeBurn at White Oak, Wentworth at White Oak in Coweta County; and Farr Lake Estates in Fayette County.

Communities just sold out include Dickerson Cove and Emerald Pointe in Henry County, and Legacy Estates in Coweta.
