New broker takes the helm at Bullard's Coweta office

Steve Bayliss is the new managing broker for the Newnan/Coweta County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty, according to an announcement by Steve Bullard, owner and president.

Bayliss, who entered real estate in 1978, earned his brokers' license in 1981 and has experience as a broker and in property management and sales management. His entire real estate career has been in the south metro area, and he worked in Newnan from 1994 to 1996. “I'm looking forward to returning to the Newnan market,” he said.

A native of New London, Conn., Bayliss has lived in Georgia since 1972. He and his wife, Liz, are residents of Fayetteville, and they have two children, Missy, 21, a student at Clayton College & State University, and Thomas, 20, who attends Marion Military Institute and who is in the U.S. Army Reserve.

The Newnan/Coweta County office of CB Bullard, 12 Bullsboro Dr., Newnan, opened early last year with a managing broker and six sales associates. The size of the office's marketing staff has more than doubled since that time.

Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty, founded in 1956, is headquartered in Jonesboro and has other offices in Riverdale, Jackson, McDonough, the Fayetteville/Peachtree City area and Newnan. The company, which early last year announced a franchise agreement with Coldwell Banker after operating for more than 40 years as Bullard Realty Company, currently has 220-plus sales associates.

A subsidiary of Cendant Corporation (NYSE: CD), the company franchises more than 2,900 independently owned and operated real estate offices with more than 69,000 sales associates throughout North America. Coldwell Banker Online can be located at http://www.coldwellbanker.com.
