Real Estate Scene

• Sheri Henley is a new sales associate with the Newnan/Coweta County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

Henley, whose mother was a real estate broker, previously worked in real estate in the mid 1980s. She received her training from the MLS Training institute in 1984 and this year.

Now a resident of the Palmetto area of Coweta County, she previously resided in the Grant Park area of downtown Atlanta where she renovated an old home. She has a background in renovation and rental management.

Henley and her husband, Stan, have three daughters.

Henley is active in church music ministries, the 4-H Horse and Pony Club, Boy Scouts, and the Sea Cadet program at the Naval Air Station.

Marjorie Rowe has joined the marketing team of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty's Newnan/Coweta County office.

Rowe, who holds both a salesperson's and a broker's license, has worked in real estate in the Newnan/Coweta County area since 1979. She is a member of the Newnan/Coweta County Board of Realtors, American Business Women's Association, and Luthersville Baptist Church. She is a committee chairman for the Junior Miss Coweta County Scholarship Pageant.

A Moreland resident, she is married to Jimmy Rowe. They have four children and nine grandchildren.

Wendy Greene, who is with Metro Brokers/Better Homes and Gardens' Peachtree City office, received six awards at her company's 1998 annual awards luncheon recently at the Cobb Galleria Centre.

She was later recognized as an Active Life Member when the Newnan/Coweta Board of Realtors had its 1998 Million Dollar Awards Gala at the Newnan Elks Club. She has been a Million Dollar Club member for four years.

The six Better Homes and Gardens award earned by Greene were as follows:

• Top Producing Sales Associate Countrywide (Unassisted) - 1998 Highest Company Award/700 Associates (20 offices).

• Top Producing Sales Associate/Peachtree City Office 1998, marking the third year she has earned this award.

• 1998 Summit Club, for attaining over $8.4 Million in residential sales and listings sold. This is the third straight year she has received this award.

• Century Club, for exceptional sales in 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998.

• Super Star Associate, top position for referrals to metro Brokers Financial Inc., for superior customer service.

• Super Star Associate, second position for referrals to Metro Brokers Insurance Inc., for superior customer service.

Greene, who attended Pfeiffer College, retired from Bellsouth Advertising and Publishing in 1987. She has more than 20 years experience in supervisory and managerial positions with major companies, most of it with BellSouth.

She started working in real estate in 1987 with Metro Brokers/Better Homes and Gardens' Perimeter office, was later with the morrow office, and has been with the Peachtree City office for five years.

A resident of Newnan, she is married to Robert C. McClendon, who retired from the city of Atlanta Police Department and is now executive director of the Police Benevolent Association of Georgia. They have three daughters, two sons, and four grandchildren.

Joe Satterfield has joined the staff of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty's Fayette County office as a sales associate. Satterfield, who has been in real estate with Star Properties Realty for the past 10 years, is retired from the state of Georgia.

He is a member of the Metro South Association of Realtors. He and his wife, Landra, live in Coweta County and have two children. The Satterfields are member of Peachtree City Church of God.

Gene Allbritton, the Cendant Mortgage representative whose offices are in Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty's Fayette County and Newnan/Coweta County locations, recognized agents from the firm who provided the most support for his office during 1998.

• Elaine Simon was recognized as number one, while Myra Burn got the runner-up award. The recognition came during the realty firm's annual awards breakfast, at Eagle's Landing Country Club.
