Barge-Robertson

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Barge of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Ilene, to Jeffrey Douglas Robertson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry D. Robertson of Hartwell.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Geraldine Stinchcomb and the late Hugh Stinchcomb of Fayetteville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Loy Barge of Fayetteville.

She is a graduate of Fayette County High School and the University of Georgia, and is employed as a fourth grade teacher at Meadowcreek Elementary School in Norcross.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Trammell of Hartwell and the late Mrs. Clyde Robertson of Hartwell.

He is a graduate of Hart County High School and the University of Georgia and is employed as a systems engineer at Richards Middle School in Lawrenceville.

The wedding will be Saturday, June 19 at 4 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Fayetteville.

The couple will reside in Lawrenceville.

Blackmon-Stewart

Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Blackmon of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lea, to Timothy Dean Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Jordan of Lovington, N.M. and Larry Stewart of Midland, Texas.

The bride-to-be is a 1994 graduate of Fayette County High School and recently graduated from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, with a Bachelor's degree in psychology and art. She was a member of Zeta Rho social club and the Big Purple Marching Band. She is currently employed with the Fayette Medical Clinic.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Lubbock High School in Lubbock, Texas, and attended Abilene Christian University where he was an honors business major. He is currently stationed at Ft. Riley, Kan., with the U.S. Army, specializing in the mechanized infantry unit.

The wedding will be June 5 at the Forest Park Church of Christ in Forest Park.

Book-Whitaker

Mr. and Mrs. Ron Book of Tyrone announce the upcoming wedding of their daughter, Lara Kristana, to Jeremy Richard Whitaker, son of Jerry Whitaker and Mrs. Eileen Tidwell of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dismukes of Mansfield, Ark., and the late Wayne and Rachel Book. She is a 1995 graduate of Landmark Christian School and recently graduated from Georgia State University with a B.S. in physical therapy. She is employed as a fitness center aide at Peachtree Regional Health and Fitness Center.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Robert and Regina Whitaker of Hampton and Dick and Lugene Tidwell and the late Ann Tidwell. He is a 1994 graduate of Fayette County High School and recently graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor's degree in physical education. He is employed at River's Edge Golf Course.

The wedding will be May 22 at North Fayette United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sam Calleiro officiating. After their honeymoon, the couple will live in Fayetteville.

Orr-Jarski

Mr. and Mrs. John Richard Orr of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Elizabeth, to Chris James Jarski, son of Anthony Jarski of Hobe Sound, Fla, and Mrs. Patsy Myers of West Field, Ind.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary L. Hogan and the late James F. Hogan of Atlanta, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Newman E. Orr of Atlanta. A 1994 graduate of McIntosh High School, she attended Mercer University in Macon and graduated cum laude from Georgia State University in 1999 with a degree in physical therapy.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Ms. Joyce Jarski of Hobe Sound, Fla., Anthony Jarski of Jupiter, Fla., and Mrs. Bennie Jean Kemper and the late Talmadge Kemper of Waled Lake, Mich. He is a 1995 magna cum laude graduate of Mercer University where he earned a degree in accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is currently enrolled in the M.B.A. program at Georgia State University.

The wedding will be June 19 at St. Andrew's in the Pines Episcopal Church in Peachtree City. Following a honeymoon to the Caribbean, the couple will live in Mission Viejo, Calif. where the groom-elect has accepted a position as director of finance with U.S. Tile in Corona, Calif.´´`
