Longtime Peachtree City homebuilder Richard Simms recently announced the beginning of construction on a new office-warehouse building.

Located on Fulton Court off Huddleston Drive in Peachtree City, the 20,000 sq.ft. one-story building will have a brick and glass “storefront” look, while the rear will have large garage doors for warehouse access.

Simms said the building, which should be completed by the end of the year, is available for one large tenant, or it can be divided into as many as eight spaces.

“I think there is a huge demand for this type of space in Peachtree City, and the location is unmatched for easy access to Interstate 85, Newnan or Fayetteville,” he said. The building is being constructed by General Properties,LLC, the commercial building division of Simms' organization. It was designed by Dennis Armstrong with engineering by Ed Koons of Hamilton Engineering and Design.
