"Notting Hill" Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts star in a film about a beautiful starlet and a stuttering, yet charming Englishman. Rated PG-13.

"The Thirteenth Floor" The people who brought you Independence Day bring this thriller about reality and computerized reality. I don't know what to think about this film. Rated R.

"A Midsummer Night's Dream" A stellar cast stars in this film based on Shakespeare's romantic comedy. I hear it is decent. Rated PG-13.

"Entrapment" Sean Connery stars as the world's greatest burglar in this action film starring Catherine Zeta Jones (Mask of Zorro). The previews are exciting. Rated PG-13.

"Forces of Nature" Ben Affleck plays a soon to be married man who finds true love and happiness away from his fiance'. Rated PG-13.

"Life" Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy play two New Yorkers who get put into the Mississippi Correctional facility. Rated R.

"The Matrix" Wow. This movie has everything. Great Action, strong cast performances, a good story and amazing visual effects. See this film, it's the best thing out there right now. Rated R.

"The Mummy" Brendan Fraser stars in this thriller about a mummy and the curse he brings with him when he comes back to life. Rated PG-13.

"Never Been Kissed" Drew Barrymore stars as a cub reporter going undercover in high school. David Arquette also stars. Rated PG-13.

"October Sky" A young, aspiring rocket scientist has dreams of being somebody special. Laura Dern and Chris Cooper star. Rated PG.

"The Out of Towners" Goldie and Hawn reteam in this remake of Neil Simon's classic. It's all about how horrible New York is, so it's a docudrama. Rated PG-13.

"Shakespeare in Love"

Will Shakespeare be able to complete his play, Romeo and Ethel, the Pirate's daughter ? Not if he can't find his muse. This film garnered 13 well deserved Oscar nominations. The acting, writing and direction are impeccable. Rated R

"Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace" See how the second greatest story ever told began. This is the movie event of the summer and I dare say you are unamerican if you miss it. Rated PG.

"Ten Things I Hate About You" This is a movie based on The Taming of the Shrew by Shakespeare. Foodie and I checked it out and we enjoyed it. It is a nice, light film that makes you want to fall in love all over again. Rated PG-13.

"Trippin'" This is an urban comedy about a man who has a very imaginative mind and spends most of his time daydreaming. Rated R.

"Blast from the Past" This is a film about a boy who grows up in a bomb shelter.He comes out in 1999 and finds Alicia Silverstone. Rated PG-13.

"CrueL Intentions" A remake of Dangerous Liasons with a twenty something cast. It's a hot, little movie starring Sarah Michelle Gellar (TV's Buffy). Rated R.

"EdTV" This movie shouldn't be at the dollar theater yet. It got great reviews and was well-liked by all the people I knew who saw it. Check it out, Ron Howard doesn't make bad movies. Rated PG-13.

"8mm" This dark film about snuff films starring Nicolas Cage did not last long. I hear it is too grim and gross. Rated R.

"Message in a Bottle" A woman falls in love with a man who wrote a letter and cast it off to sea in a bottle. Rated PG-13.

"Patch Adams" Some would say that laughter is the best medicine, I, on the other hand, prefer expert medical advice.The comedic genius Robin Williams stars. Rated PG-13.

"Prince of Egypt" The story of Moses becomes an animated tale. It held my interest and stayed away from being overly preachy. Let your people go...see this. Rated G.

"Saving Private Ryan" The award winning film about a platoon's rescue of a family's youngest son during World War II. Rated R.

"She's All That" This is the story of a popular boy making a geeky girl feel like a queen all to win a contest. And then he realizes he loves her. Awwww.Rated PG-13.

"The Deep End of the Ocean" This movie deserves to be shown on Lifetime. In fact, Liftime has shown several movies similar to this one. Rated PG-13.

"The Faculty" A fun spoof of B-Horror and Alien Invasion movies. Rated R.

"The King and I" Someone had the not-so-bright idea to make a classic musical a cartoon with cute animals and dragons. Rated G.

"The Other Sister" Juliette Lewis stars as a mentally challenged girl in love with a mentally challenged boy. Rated PG-13.
