Fayetteville will host the Higher Ground Softball
camps June 21-24 at McCurry Park in Fayetteville. Fast pitch pitching and
catching camps will be offered on June 21 and 22 and fast and slow
pitch hitting camps will be offered on June 23 and 24. For more

The Atlanta Chill, a traveling softbal team for U-14 kids, is

are interested in playong for a fast pitch softball tournament team,

The 1999 Peachtree City Youth Soccer Association's
annual meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26 at the
lower level meeing rooms of the Peachtree City Library. A new
president and vice president will be elected at the meeting and all

Registration for the 1999 Pacers Swim Team is scheduled for
May 29 at the Kedron Fieldhouse and Aquatic Center from 9 -11
a.m. Birth certificates must accompany registration forms.
registration fees are $125 for one swimmer, $240 for two swimmers or

The Fayette County 4-H Shooting Sport is sponsoring
a public modified trap shoot on June 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shoot will
be on McDonough Rd, across from McCurry Park. The cost is a
$5 donation per 25 clay targets. Loaner guns and ammunition
are available.
The Soccer Centre in Fayetteville is accepting applications for
the Summer Indoor Adult Soccer season. Leagues will be formed
in the following divisions: 30 and Over men, Coed, and
Mens' Open. 30 and Over and Coed will play on Tuesday and
Thursday nights beginning June 15. Men's Open plays on Monday
or Wednesday evenings and will begin on June 21. For more

The Fayette County Youth Soccer League is still
accepting registrations for the Outreach Program
for Soccer (TOPS) for physically and mentally challenged boys and
girls, ages 6 to 19. The cost is $40 per year, and we are hoping to
participate in the Special Olympics in May, in the 8 through 15 age

The Soccer Centre of Fayetteville is offering an indoor/outdoor
youth soccer camp on June 14-18 at the Centre from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
each day. Full and half day camps are available for boys and girls age
5-14. There will be specialized goalkeeper training each day with
the emphasis on small sided games. Camp director Kevin Dumas will

Football and cheerleader registration for the Brooks Area
Recreation Department will take place the last three Saturdays in
May and July from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jarrett Young Fieldhouse

The annual meeting for the Fayette County Baseball
Association is Sunday, June 13 from 2-4 p.m. New board members will

The Peachtree City Youth Soccer Association has set tryout
dates and times for its Lazer teams. The Lazers are part of Georgia
Youth Soccer Association's select program. All girls (Athena)
tryouts start on June 1 and boys (Classic and Premier) tryouts for the
fall 1999 season commence either June 7 (U10-U13) or June

The Lightning Soccer Club is hosting their ninth annual
Player Development Camp May 23-27 at McCurry Park in Fayetteville. It
is for players ages 8-14. Ages 8-10 will attend camp from 5 -6:30
p.m. at a cost of $65. Ages11-14 will attendd from 6:30- 8:30 p.m. at
a cost of $75. Any registrations before May 20 are eligible for a

The Lightning Soccer Club has set tryouts for the Fall 1999
season for all age groups from Under 10 through Under 18. The
Georgia State Soccer Association allows tryouts to begin on the

Final registration is now open for the TenStar All Star
basketball Camp. Boys and Girls ages 10-18 are eligible. Players are
