As one who has spent the last 29 years in the field of urban planing, I have visited and/or studied most planed communities throughout the U.S.A. The most livable community that I have found is Peachtree City.

Peachtree City residents and businesses are lucky to have had a developer and a government who are sensitive to why people chose Peachtree City as their community in the first place. Peachtree City has the perfect combination of automobile accessibility combined with alternatives to the automobile.

Peachtree City is superior in more ways than most of us can conceive until we begin to make comparisons to other communities. Peachtree city offers unparalleled beauty. It also enjoys traffic safety, excellent traffic flow, superb schools, extensive tree protection, low crime rates, security of investment, and it is extremely functional and convenient.

Concurrently, Pathway Communities (formerly Peachtree City Development Corp.) has provided consumers with a product that fulfills their desires while cooperating with city government to develop minimum standards for attractiveness and function developed by experts. The standards for attractiveness and function developed by experts. The standards have been designed to contribute to the attractiveness, function, economy and character of Peachtree City.

While there has been friction from time to time between the City Council and Pathway, one would think that only the utmost harmony could have produced results so favorable to residents and businesses.

All Peachtree City residents are fortunate to have had leaders within PCDC and local government to accomplish all that has been accomplished over the last 40 years.

I feel very fortunate to have lived in Peachtree City for the last 14 years.
