A traffic stop in Fayetteville has led to a pair of arrests for cocaine possession, according to reports.

Kimberly Bartlett, 39, of Riverdale faces charges of cocaine possession and obstruction of an officer. The driver of the car, 27-year-old Derrick Young of College Park, faces charges of driving under the influence of drugs and cocaine possession.

The two were stopped Saturday afternoon on White Road after an officer spotted defective equipment on their car. Both have been taken to Fayette County Jail, and the car has been impounded.

Darryl J. Harvey, 35, of Fayetteville was arrested Friday for marijuana possession and driving without a license after a traffic stop on Ga. Highway 54 at Cobblestone Boulevard. A passenger in the car, 40-year-old Bruce Harvey of Fayetteville, was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Lilburn and was also arrested. The car was initially stopped for failure to maintain its lane.
