Two Fayette County attorneys, James E. Bischoff and Glen Burn, were mistakenly and incorrectly named as criminal defendants in a news story in The Citizen, Wednesday, May 5, 1999.

Bischoff and Burn are both well-respected attorneys in Fayette County with practices specializing in representing defendants in criminal cases.

Bischoff and Burn were, in fact, acting in their capacities as attorneys at law and were individually representing two defendants in Fayette Superior Court.

In fact, it was the defendants, James Leonard Cox and Leonard Lemuel Barnes not Bischoff or Burn who were charged with wrongdoing and who subsequently received jail terms.

The incorrect article is hereby retracted and corrected. The Citizen apologizes for this mistake and misidentification.
