The Landmark Christian School boys track team won the region meet last week with 171 points. Callway finished in second place with 157 points. The War Eagles too first place in six events, including the 800 meter run, the 1,600 meter run, the 3,200 meter run, the 110 meter high hurdles, the 300 meter intermedaite hurdles, the pole vault and the discus. What truly helped Landmark to another regional championship was the fact that more than one person placed in nearly every event.

Nick Polgardi took first in the discus going 141-05, while Hayes Mecure took third with a distance of 130-05.50. Eric Quint took first place in the pole vault with a vault of 12'6" and Joseph Cawood was second place with a vault of 11'. The War Eagles had team memers place first and second or second and third in every track event except the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Ken Harris finished those in third and sixth place respectively. Landmark is now on a quest for their fourth staraight state title.
