St. John A.M. E. Church in Fairburn will have its third annual Lay Day Celebration Sunday, April 25 at the 8 and 11 a.m. services. The theme will be "Chriatian Laity Led by the Holy Spirit Empowered to Serve."

Speakers will be the Rev. Kenneth Boyd, pastor of Whitman Chapel A.M.E. Church in Belpro, Oh. and the Rev. Dr. Marsha Boyd, dean of Payne Theological Seminary in Wiberforce, Oh.

St. John A.M.E. is at 305 West Campbellton Street in Fairburn.
