Hotdogs, beer and peanuts will give way to pork tenderloins, wine and blueberry pound cake at Turner Field this weekend, when GrandStand '99 takes over the home of the Braves for a two-day food and fitness extravaganza.

The event is hosted by Cooking Light magazine and is touted as a festival for the new millennium. "It will be filled with well-known chefs, cookbook authors, culinary and fitness experts and local talent," reported Jessica Kleimann, media contact for GrandStand '99.

"The event will also showcase the latest and hottest in food, fitness, well-being and home trends," she added.

Visitors will be able to sample innovative cuisine from the magazine, as well as from America's top chefs. Cooking Light spotlighted five outstanding chefs in the April edition who embody the magazine's philosophy of celebration and moderation. They will be on hand to demonstrate their culinary talents. Among the five selectees is Timothy Creehan, certified executive chef and owner of Beach Walk Cafe in Destin, Fla. Creehan merges Asian, Mediterranean, Caribbean and Southern influences into his comfortable, casual menu at the Beach Walk Cafe.
