"I met a man this week who remembered making stained glass windows out of brightly colored construction paper during Sunday School craft time. He marveled at the variety of adhesives that were available to him: white glue, paste, mucilage, rubber cement, tape, staplers you name it. Isn't that great? Stained glass gorgeous beauty from shattered pieces. Church is the place where God repairs broken people, tapes up strained relationships and staples together an oddball assortment of seemingly unrelated folks to humbly work God's high purposes in holy ways."
