Southlake Mall announced recently that they are seeking a corporate sponsor for a new children's soft-play area to be built in conjunction with the center's new food court.

Soft-play areas are themed, carpeted playgrounds with oversized everyday objects made of durable soft-coated foam for children to play on.

In other malls, locally-based corporations have sponsored the soft play area.

"We are looking for a local corporation to sponsor our soft-play area which will be the first play area of its kind in an Atlanta mall," said Southlake Mall general manager Mallard Benton.

The area will be completely customized to meet the needs of the sponsor and to provide maximum enjoyment for the children.
