$28,000 to PTC nonprofit groups
The Cooper Lighting division of Houston-based Cooper
Industries made grants totaling $28,128 to Peachtree City nonprofit
organizations last year.
The United Way received more than $14,800 and was the
largest recipient from Cooper. Grants totalling $12,500 were
distributed to area nonprofits specializing in health and human services,
education, arts and culture and civic and environmental causes.
A number of other organizations received funds from the
foundation through the matching gift plan, which matches
employee gifts of $35 or more to nonprofit charities on a
dollar-for-dollar basis.
