'Click'-ing well on all levels

Recently in a Georgia Independent School Association athletic meeting, Senior post player Amanda Click was chosen to a fifteen player All-State roster and selected to the North All-Star team. She received these honors after posting a career season for the Heritage School's Lady Hawks. Amanda set records in points with 1,022, the most blocked shots in one season with 66, the most rebounds in a career with 314 and the most blocked shots in a career with 156. She was instrumental in the Lady Hawks return to the State Playoffs.

Amanda played in the AA/AAA shoot out on Saturday, March 6. The All-State players in AA played the All-State players in AAA. Although the bigger AAA schools won the contest, Click was the leading scorer for the AA team with 16 points. She also pulled in eight rebounds and blocked two shots, playing only 20 minutes of the 40 minute game. "Amanda was by far the best post player on the floor," commented Coaches Simone DuPree and Judith Griffith. "She represented The Heritage School well and we are all very proud of her accomplishments."

As a North All-Star, Click will travel to Macon this July to participate in the annual GISA All-Star game, which will be covered by the Macon Telegraph and a Macon television station.
