New Hope looks at 'What is true beauty?'

An evening of celebration and affirmation of "inner and outer beauty" is set for Thursday, April 15, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at New Hope Baptist Church dining hall (north campus). Speaker for the "ladies night out" evening of fun, fashion, fellowship and fabulous dining is Cheryl Reccord, wife of North American Mission Board Chairman Bob Reccord. Fayette Christian sets prayer time

Christians are always encouraged to set aside times to pray, and Fayette Christian Church in Fayetteville is doing just that for a period to "pray people into Christlikeness." Members plan to meet every Sunday from 8:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. in the auditorium for intense prayer time. All are invited. For more information call 770-461-8763.

Spring Family Retreat: 'Modeling the Father'

The annual Spring Family Retreat for Fayetteville First Baptist Church is set for May 14-15 at Shocco Springs Conference Center in Talladega, Ala. The theme is "Modeling the Father: Developing Quality Relationships that Last." Families are offered a chance to get away to a beautiful setting with their families to focus on the relationship with the Heavenly Father and how that impacts relationships we share in our homes.
