Plans to add 40 homes on 77.47 acres to Woodcreek/Jefferson Woods subdivision on Redwine Road will be on the agenda as the Fayette County Planning Commission convenes tomorrow.

John Wieland Homes plans to buy E. A. Brown's parcel, fronting on Redwine and Bernhard roads, and change its zoning from A-R (agricultural-residential) to PUD-PRD (planned unit development-planned residential development).

During recent meetings, a John Wieland spokesman said the firm plans to expand recreational facilities at Woodcreek and allow the new residents to use them.

In other matters before the commission:

Larry Landrum wants to develop 15 light industrial lots on 28.15 acres on Rockwood Road. He is asking for a zoning change from A-R to M-1 (light industrial).

John and Charlotte Hendershot are seeking to revise the final plat of a Busbin Road subdivision to develop two lots where one currently exists. The property is zoned A-R and fronts on Laura Lane.

Don Galimore is asking for a change in zoning from R-70 (residential, minimum two-acre lots) to A-R for his ten acres on Tillman Road to develop a home and farm.

Joseph D. Giovinco is asking for a change in conditions on his 3.56 acres zoned C-C (community commercial). The land is on Ga. Highway 54 at Sumner Road, and plans are to develop a single lot with office uses.

The Planning Commission will conduct public hearings on the requests at 7 p.m. tomorrow in the commission meeting room at the County Administrative Complex.

Recommendations from the Planning Commission and zoning staff will be forward to the County Commission for a final decision April 22, 7 p.m. in the commission meeting room.
