Peachtree City police arrested a 32-year-old Peachtree City man after receiving a report March 20 on a suspicious person behind the NOAA Weather Center on Falcon Drive, reports show. John A. Drage, 32, 138 Terrane Ridge, was charged with loitering, violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act, and improper tag display, according to reports. Police also made a traffic stop on Ga. Highway 54 at Line Creek Drive March 17 which resulted in four arrests. The driver, Dorthy Jones, 35, of Newnan, was charged with furnishing alcohol to minors; Steven Dover, 19, of Newnan, was arrested on a warrant from another jurisdiction; Robert J. Amormino, 20, of Riverdale, and Elizabeth J. McAvely, 18, of Newnan, were both charged with minor in possession of alcohol, reports state. Other arrests included Kuan F. Chin, 39, of Marietta, theft by shoplifting from the Kedron Kroger; Michael J. Pannell, 26, two counts of disorderly conduct after an argument March 16 between Waffle House employees; and Mickey L. Mason, 33, of Snellville, and Bruce K. Wohlers, 35, Peachtree City, for drinking in public at the Battery Boat Docks at Lake Peachtree and Battery Way.
