Stan Applegate, Peachtree City resident and author of "The Devil's Highway," will appear at the Peachtree City Library Saturday at 1:30 p.m. "Natchez Under the Hill," Applegate's second novel in the series, is scheduled to be available April 1.

Both books feature the adventures of two young people, Zeb and Hannah, as they travel along the Natchez Trace in 1811. The author plans to relate the difficulties he encountered while researching and writing the novels, because all facts such as kind of clothes worn, types of guns from that period, etc. should be historically accurate.
