A 75-year-old Fayetteville woman was killed in an automobile accident last Thursday, according to reports from the Fayetteville Police Department. Capt. Steve Ledbetter said that Nebraska Pickelsimer was a passenger in a 1999 Saturn driven by Richard Cooper of Fayetteville. The Saturn collided with a 1998 Mustang driven by Jennifer Wisneski, also of Fayetteville, at Ga. Highway 85 and Grady Avenue, about 6:24 p.m., Ledbetter said. No charges have been filed as yet, Ledbetter said, because the sequence of events and cause of the accident have not yet been determined. Funeral services for Pickelsimer were held earlier this week in Morganton, Ga.
