A video clip submitted by Brooks Elementary School will be part of Thursday's World's Largest Concert, an annual event sponsored by the Music Educators National Conference, to be broadcast at 1 p.m. on PBS.

Each year MENC receives clips from schools across the country, with only 10 to 15 selected for use in the live concert. Brooks Elementary is one of only two schools in Georgia selected for this honor.

In the clip, the Brooks students performed "Younger Generation." In the letter of notification, Deidre Healy, manager of special programs, wrote, "Your students looked great! We appreciate the time and effort you into preparing your video clip."

The school's 500 students plan to gather in the gym to watch the show on a delayed broadcast.
