The Peachtree City Tennis Center will host the Third Annual Peachtree City Invitational this Friday and Saturday. First round and consolation matches will be played on Friday, with play starting at 2 p.m. Play will begin on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. The format of the tournament will be single elimination team tennis, three singles and two doubles. There will be a consolation match for first round losers, so players are guaranteed two matches of play. There will be match play for third place. The first round matches play a 10 game pro set, while subsequent matches play best two of three sets.

The first round action will feature the Fayette County boys team against Brookstone and the McIntosh boys against Starr's Mill at 2:30 p.m. at the Tennis Center. Newnan's boys team will face Shiloh at the Tennis Center at 3:00 p.m. The Starr's Mill girls will face Newnan at 4 p.m. at Glenloch, while McIntosh's girls team will face Brookstone at the Tennis Center. Fayette County's girls will play against McIntosh II at the Tennis Center at 4 p.m. as well.
