Mary-Julia Stephens has accepted the position of Recreation Manager and Head Coach of the Men's and Women's Bowling Teams at Georgia Institute of Technology. She comes from Louisiana State University where she led the Indoor Recreation Facility as well as coached the bowling program.

While at LSU, Ms. Stephens led the Men's Bowling Team to the National Championship for three consecutive years and the Women's Team for their first appearance in fifteen year in 1998 to the National Tournament.

Mary-Julia is a 1988 graduate of McIntosh High School and graduated in 1992 from Jacksonville State University. She currently resides in Peachtree City and is the daughter of Jim and Mary Ann Stephens of Fayetteville.
