On a cold, winter day, more than 30 of Senoia's finest turned out to honor a pillar of the community.

The crowd gathered Tuesday morning to pay tribute to Frank Hollberg, Jr. and his efforts in making the town's cemetery a perpetual care facility.

Cemetery committee members Bruce Fry and Carl McKnight relayed stories about how "Mr. Frank" suggested investing the cemetery's funds to ensure the grounds would always be looked after.

Hollberg's son, Buddy, was surprised at the crowd who turned out to honor his father and thanked the cemetery committee for establishing a permanent marker to honor his father.

The crowd was a virtual "Who's Who" of the small eastern Coweta town and neighbors gathered round Hollberg to thank him and his family's efforts in preserving the town's historic cemetery.
