Stars on the Southern Crescent coffeehouse offers tales and tunes

Stars on the Southern Crescent, the southside coffee house, resumes operations at National Heights Baptist Church in Fayetteville Saturday, Feb. 27 . On the bill are Atlanta storyteller Connie Dodge and the Voice of the Southland Band, with additional entertainment to be announced.

Audience members may choose from homemade desserts, a variety of coffees and teas, hot apple cider and cold drinks. Patrons are encouraged to bring their mugs from home for a discount on hot beverages and a chance to win the "Most Unusual Mug" award.

National Heights is located between Peachtree City and downtown Fayetteville on Ga. Highway 54 and Old Norton. Doors open at 7:45 p.m., with the entertainment beginning at 8:15 p.m. Admission is $6 for the general public and $4 for seniors and children under age 12.
