Flat Rock wrestlers pin a big
finish on a super season

The Flat Rock Middle School wrestling team recently finished a successful season. The team took fourth place at the Junior Chattahoochee wrestling tournament, finishing with five medalists. Martin Montalvo went undefeated this season through all of the meets and tournaments. He was a champion at the county and South Metro tournament as well as the Junior Chattahoochee meet. Montalvo's record this year was a striking 20-0. Mark Smith took second place at the Chattahoochee meet and first in the county. Trea Ward finished in third at Chattahoochee and finished first in the county. Joey Singleton took first in the county and finished in fourth place at the Chattahoochee meet. Walter Body finished in third place at Chattahoochee.

The Flat Rock team faced some stiff competition throughout the county as well at some of their tournaments. The Chattahoochee meet pitted the kids from Flat Rock against wrestlers from Lovett and Westminster.
