Organizers of the Jesus Video Project Georgia are encouraging Christians to pray each day between now and March 28 for specific areas related to the mailout. During these 40 days of prayer, Christians are also being asked to consider fasting each Monday. The prayer requests for this week are:

Today (Feb. 17): Pray that all of Georgia will see the vision. Proverbs 29:18a Where there is no vision, the people will perish.

Thursday: Pray that all residents of Georgia will seek Him. Jeremiah 29:12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Friday: Pray for fellowship of the believers. Acts 2:42-44 They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common.

Saturday: Pray for churches all across Georgia. Colossians 2:2 My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ.

Sunday: Pray for generous giving. Deuteronomy 15:10-11 Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.

Monday: Pray for Bill Laycock, director of Jesus Video Project Georgia. Acts 20:24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace.

Tuesday: Pray for the Christians in Georgia. II Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
