Thank you to the woman who stole our umbrella. On Jan. 30 at 9 a.m. at Manhattan Bagel in Peachtree City, I was having breakfast with my daughter. We left our wet umbrella outside the bagel place because I did not want the umbrella to drip all over the floor, possibly causing someone to fall. As I looked up, I saw you walk past the bagel place holding an umbrella that looked just like mine. Imagine my surprise when I went to retrieve my umbrella and realized that it was my umbrella that you stole. I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to discuss stealing with my daughter. You provided me with the perfect example of what a thief is. Thanks, too, for bursting my bubble about "petty theft" not happening in my hometown. I will certainly be more vigilant as a result of encountering your lack of morals. My daughter and I pity you because you do not know how to do what is right. What I do not understand is why did you want my umbrella when you were already wearing a raincoat? Nancy and Lindsay Powell
