If [Atlanta Falcon] Eugene Robinson has learned anything during the past year about how to handle a scandal, he just has to look toward Washington, D.C. The strategy will be deny, deny, deny, then lie, and then just say it's a private matter. Besides, a certain type of sex is not sex. How can we hold a team leader to a standard we do not expect or hold our national leaders to? After all, there is no longer a moral standard in this country. Eugene Robinson let his team, his family, his fans down, and possibly in the end provided enough of a distraction to have led his team to this Super Bowl loss. President Clinton has also let his team, "our nation," down. As all great nations have declined, I believe our President has accelerated ours. Let us hope the American people will expect and demand more from our nation's leaders. For if we do not, our loss in the Super Bowl of Life will be more consequential. Patrick Lynch
