Acting techniques focus of workshop

"Making the Most of Subtext and Inner Monologue," an acting workshop for adults and teens, deals with several of the most vital techniques actors need to master. Slated for Saturday, Feb. 6, from 1-4 p.m. at the Peachtree City Library, the workshop focuses on understanding the meaning under the lines and within the silences.

The fee for the three-hour workshop, taught by Offshoot Productions' professional cast and staff, is $18.

Future workshops include "Creating the Illusion of the First Time," scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 21, at The Gathering Place in Peachtree City. Also intended for adults and teens, the workshop costs $18.

In addition, children ages 8 to 14 are invited to participate in a special workshop in conjunction with National Family Week at the theater. "Working with the Play Script," will take place at the Peachtree City Library on Saturday, March 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The fee is $10.
