Tickets are now on sale for the annual Easter "Atlanta Passion Play," to be performed at the Atlanta Civic Center in March.

Each year, a cast of more than 250 actors presents a musical drama of the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. More than 600 people are involved in the production overall. A live orchestra and chorus are featured, as are dramatic studio lighting, painted sets and authentic biblical costumes.

Shows are March 13 at 2 and 7:30 p.m., March 14 at 3 p.m., March 19 at 7:30 p.m., March 20 at 2 and 7:30 p.m., March 21 at 3 p.m., March 26 at 7:30 p.m., March 27 at 2 and 7:30 p.m., and March 28 at 3 p.m. The 2 p.m. performance on March 27 is interpreted for the deaf.
