Those of us who live in the county, and especially within the city, can tell you that if you take a drive down Beauregard Boulevard, it will take you to the fair...but we never dreamed we'd have to take a roller coaster ride down Beauregard to get there! For those of you who haven't driven down this heavily traveled two-lane street that is used not only by residents and local businesses but also by several of our local schools as a primary route as they transport our children to and from school daily. Come test it out, then ask yourself, "What's wrong with this picture?" It's a joke to continue to fill and patch; it's not only costly, inadequate, it's just plain pointless. The street needs to be properly widened to accommodate the traffic and resurface the entire road from Ga. Highway 85 to the ball fields/fair grounds. Enough patch jobs, already! I'd much rather wait until the fair actually comes to town to ride a roller coaster. Barbie Dunn
