QCN Corporation, a St. Louis-based research company focusing on the collection and distribution of city-specific information, announced this week that Newnan will be included in the 1999 Citizens' Choice Poll.

Citizens' Choice is a national survey of local residents designed to determine the very best of America. QCN began accepting ballots from people in over 500 cities throughout the country on Jan.1 and continues until March 31.

Results from the Newnan survey will be released in late April 1999 via a local news release and on the QCN.com Web site.

"QCN's goal is to make Citizens' Choice a source where people everywhere can share their opinions about their community and learn about other communities," said Shawn Scott, a regional coordinator for Citizens' Choice.

"This poll will generate answers that will pique the interest of local residents as well as visitors to the Newnan area. We are collecting opinions on everything in Newnan from the best place to buy groceries, to the best place to see a movie," Scott added.
