Clergy seminar on 'pastors under attack'

Area clergy are invited to a seminar Feb. 11 at Atlanta Bible College in Morrow offering guidance for pastors and congregations "under attack," says the Rev. Ronald Weinelt of McDonough. Weinelt, editor of "The Parish Chute" of the Association of Battered Clergy, says the attacks come from members who engage in "underhanded and unethical ways to undermine the ministry" of pastors. Speaker for the event is the Rev. Dr. G. Lloyd Rediger, a Minnesota Presbyterian minister, author and counselor to clergy. Rediger's book on the subject is in its third printing. Registration is $30 with a discount for early enrollment. For more information call Kent Ross at the Bible College, 5823 Trammell Rd., Morrow, 404-362-0052, or Weinelt at 770-954-9159.
