Sara Martin Jones

Sara Martin Jones, 89, Newnan, died Jan. 19, 1999. She was born Jan. 23, 1909, the daughter of Grover D. and Vannie Phillips Martin, of Newnan. She was graduated as valedictorian from Newnan High School in 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hal L. Jones, whom she married on July 11, 1926.

Services were held at the McKoon Funeral Home Chapel, Newnan, with the Rev. Tony Sullivan officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Newnan.

Survivors include sons, Hal and Louise Jones, Jr., Ronald and Pat Jones, Don and Mildred Jones and Tom and Mary Jones, all of Newnan, and Marty and Joy Jones, Peachtree City; daughters, Gloria Jones and Kelly Grenga and Karen Jones and Ron Malcolm; sisters, Alice Martin Stewart, Sunnyside, Ga., Barbara Martin and Paul Duncan, Orlando, Fla.; sisters-in-law, Mrs. James N. Martin, Franklin, Ga., Mrs. G. D. Martin, Jackson, Ga., Iva Jones Higgins, Avondale Estates, Ga., Christine Jones Cooper, Atlanta; and brother-in-law, the Rev. and Mrs. Duke C. Jones, Newnan.

McKoon Funeral home, Newnan, was in charge of the arrangements.

Lizzie Holt Bradford

Lizzie Holt Bradford, 87, McDonough, died Jan. 17, 1999. She was born Jan. 9, 1912 in Cocks County, Tenn.

Services were held at the Carl J. Mowell Chapel, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Al O'Quinn and the Rev. Steve Murrell officiating. Interment was at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Forest Park, Ga.

Survivors include a son, Michael and Lynn Bradford, Riverdale; a daughter, Linda and John Webster, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Stephanie Bradford, Peachtree City, Brad and Cindy Webster, Rex, Beth Webster, Macon, and Michelle and Tommy Griffin, McDonough; a great-granddaughter, Meaghan Webster, Rex; and a sister, Mamie Smith, Pt. Pleasant, Tenn.

Jeffery Allen Nolan

Jeffery Allen Nolan, 35, Fayetteville, died Jan. 16, 1999. He was born Feb. 12, 1963 in Atlanta.

Graveside services were held at the Welcome All Cemetery, Red Oak, Ga., with the Rev. Franklin Treadwell officiating.

Survivors include his parents, Harold and Mary Nolan, Fayetteville; brothers, Walter Harold Nolan, Jr., Fayetteville, and Daniel and Christy Nolan, Senoia; and a sister, Pam and Billy Brown, Griffin.

Vicki Lynn Murphy

Vicki Lynn Murphy, 45, Peachtree City, died Jan. 19, 1999. She was born Aug. 2, 1953 in Jackson, Tenn. She was a former cheerleader and graduate of Jefferson Davis High School, class of 1971, in Montgomery, Ala. She was co-founder of the Clayton County Multiple Sclerosis Support Group.

Services were held at the Carl J. Mowell Chapel, Peachtree City, with the Rev. Terry Nelson officiating. Interment was at Senoia, Ga. City Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Terry W. Murphy, Peachtree City; a son, David Morgan Murphy, Peachtree City; a daughter, Kelli Marie Murphy, Peachtree City; and a brother, Ron and Cindy Cain, Walkersville, Mo.

Memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Georgia Chapter, 12 Perimeter Center E., Ste. 1200, Atlanta, Ga. 30346.

Mary Jo Hay

Mary Jo Hay, 84, Fayetteville, died Jan. 20, 1999. She was born April 20, 1914 in Standing Rock, Ala. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Albert Hay.

Graveside services were held at the Hillview East Cemetery, LaGrange, Ga., with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating.

Survivors include a son, Leon and Donna Hay, Dallas,Texas; daughters, Jane and Glenn Ward, Fayetteville and Mary Anne Knight, Dallas, Texas; there are six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Annie Lee Neely, 83, Fayetteville, died Jan. 19, 1999. She was born Dec. 30, 1915 in Fayette County, the daughter of Thomas H. and Addie Claire Hardy Graves. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer L. Neely.

Graveside services were held at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Howard Dial officiating.

Survivors include her sister, Kathryn Cameron, Fayetteville.
