Several Wednesday night small study groups are beginning this evening at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, 175 E. Lanier Ave.

"Body and Soul" will teach the whole-person approach to good health, nutrition, physical fitness, emotional well-being and a strong spiritual life, using faith, fun, facts and fellowship. The group meets from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Room B-320.

"Cancer Support" is for people who have experienced cancer of any kind. This group meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Room B-355.

A study on "Coping" will use Serendipity resources to give participants strength and support in managing daily stress, disappointments, hurts and grief. This group meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Room B-340.

Neale Donald Walsch's "Conversations with God, Book 2" describes God's loving shake of our shoulders, challenging us to move to another level. Global topics of geopolitical and metaphysical natures will be discussed, focusing on the challenges now facing the world. The study is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Room B-315.

"Gifts and Callings," the response a person makes to the address of God and the calling of partnership, is the topic of a supportive group meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Room B-335/345.

And "S.O.S.," Survivors of Suicide support group for those who have lost a friend or loved one to suicide, meets the second Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Bride's Room.
