Cancer, eating disorder survivor shares testimony at PTC brunch

Christian author's ministry has been instrumental

in liberating the lives of men and women alike

The community is invited to a special brunch featuring Lisa Bevere at First Baptist Church of Peachtree City, Feb. 6 from 9 to 11 a.m. She is the author of the bestsellers "Out of Control and Loving It!," "The True Measure of a Woman" and "You Are Not What You Weigh."

Bevere will be speaking at the Aspiring Women conferences in Atlanta in April and across the nation throughout this year. A dynamic speaker for retreats and women's conferences, she is also a frequent guest on radio and television broadcasts.

Through her books and messages, Bevere shares her journey in which she battled cancer, survived an eating disorder and overcame some tumultuous relationships. Her ministry has proven instrumental in liberating the lives of men and women alike, including freedom from fear and anger by escaping their past. Her style is candid, bold and inspiring.

As a speaker, Bevere's unique ability to communicate straight from the heart encourages her audiences to seek the heart of God through a lifestyle of true holiness.

In addition to her inspiring message, participants will enjoy music and a meal. Tickets are $5, and childcare is free with paid reservations.

Purchase tickets by visiting or calling the church office at 770-487-8133, ext. 215. First Baptist is at 208 Willowbend Rd.
