Treatment may eliminate need for surgery for atherosclerosis patients
Chelation therapy is a non-surgical, safe,
effective and relatively inexpensive treatment that restores
blood flow for patients of atherosclerosis by
administering an intravenous infusion of a prescription medicine
called EDTA (ethylene diamine tetra-acetic acid).
Chelation therapy is a treatment used to reserve symptoms
associated with atherosclerosis or arterio sclerosis
(hardening of the arteries) as it promotes health by
correcting the major underlying cause of arterial blockage.
Also because the use of EDTA, the need for drugs is
often reduced or eliminated after a course of chelation therapy.
Bypass surgery is the mechanical repai of only
a small protion of the arterial function. Total costs
for "bypass surgery" on average is about $45,000 and
has reached in excess of $60,000. Chelation
therapy is an out-patient treatment (usually performed in
an office setting) which improves blood flow
throughout the entire vascular system at a small fraction
of the cost.
