Two suspects have been charged with burglary in connection with a break-in Jan. 8 at Advantage Mortgage on Huntingdon Park Drive, according to reports from the Fayette County Sheriff's Department. Lt. Mahlon Donald of the Criminal Investigations Division said that the female suspects were caught in Smyrna and charged with forgery, apparently using checks stolen from the Fayette company. The two suspects are Canty Ryan, 31, and Catherine Coachman, 33, both of College Park, Donald reported. Stolen items reported in the office burglary, in addition to company checks, were two handguns, a briefcase, the corporate seal and a Waterford pen valued at $400, Donald said. Sheriff's deputies also arrested George Michael Lewis, 21, of McDonough on a warrant from LaGrange police. Reports show Lewis was stopped by deputies for going 68 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone on McDonough Road, and his wanted status was discovered in a routine check.
