Centex Homes named 'Builder of the Year'

This month, Centex Homes was the recipient of high honor. At the 18th Annual Professionalism Awards, Centex Homes was named Builder of the Year by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association.

"This is quite an honor," stated William Shean, President of the Atlanta Division of Centex Homes. "Everyone involved with Centex Homes is proud of what we've accomplished. We're building homes people will feel comfortable in for many years.

Shean was instrumental in the establishment of the Certified Professional Homebuilder program. This program certifies that the builder has met the criteria established by The Housing Institute, Inc., lending confidence to Atlanta homebuyers.

This accolade was earned through a commitment to offering Atlanta home shoppers a variety of quality homes that fit every lifestyle. Other honors received include a Silver Award for Best Building Design - Model, $250,000 to $299,999 and a Gold Award for Best Interior Merchandising - Model $250,000-$299,999, both for the Jamestown plan at their Olde Atlanta Club community.
