More burglaries may be laid at the feet of a College Park man being held in the Fayette County jail, says Peachtree City Police Chief James Murray. Murray says Zeus Britton, 25, already charged with burglary by the Fayette Sheriff's Department and by Peachtree City, is suspected in some Peachtree City incidents last spring, and other jurisdictions are also questioning the suspect. Britton was caught by sheriff's deputies inside the Amoco station at Ga. Highways 314 and 279 Christmas weekend. Peachtree City police also charged him with a McDonald's break-in earlier that week. Other arrests in Peachtree City included: Juveniles, ages 14 and 15, charged with curfew violation and minors in possession of alcohol; Douglas Shamrock, 41, Peachtree City, DUI and improper headlights and taillights; Cynthia S. Hunter, 41, Peachtree City, DUI and other charges; Cheryl L. Campbell, 35, Peachtree City, DUI and other charges; Nicolas Lambrix, 18, Newnan, theft by shoplifting.
