Learn to effectively lobby elected leaders

"Effective Lobbying," where Christian voters can learn to effectively present their concerns about issues to local, state and federal elected officials, is being taught tonight at New Hope Baptist Church. Teacher Bill Norman will teach participants how to present their written or verbal opinions in a positive way at public hearings, board meetings and committee meetings. The one-day, free seminar is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Building A, Room 102 of New Hope's North Campus, 551 New Hope Rd., Fayetteville. Norman is administrative assistant in the Georgia House of Representatives Research Office and has more than 26 years of experience in government. For details, call 770-460-4820.
