Singles ring in New Year

A singles' Christian New Year's Eve celebration is planned at Braelinn Baptist Church, 777 Robinson Rd., Peachtree City. There will be worship, food, fellowship and loads of fun. Community invited to annual 'Watch Night'

The Body of Christ Christian Church invites the community to join the annual "Watch Night Service" on Dec. 31 at 9 p.m. Holy Communion will be observed. Also a children's ministry will be provided. New program offered Jan. 6 to equip Christians

CrossWalk, a Wednesday night program offering adult electives designed to equip Christians to grow in their walk with Christ, is beginning Jan. 6 at Fayetteville Christian Church. The electives will run in segments of four to six weeks; when one segment of classes is completed, another segment with new electives will begin.

The first segment, lasting five weeks, will include the following electives: "The Marks of a Mature Christian," a study of James taught by John Panzenhagen; "Sharing Your Faith with Pre-Christian Friends," by pastor Daniel Overdorf; "Servants' Hour of Prayer," led by Greg Anderson; and Adult Choir, led by Audrey Bates.
