The 8th grade Rising Starr Lady Panthers won Friday night against their rivals, Whitewater Middle School, by a score of 40-12. Susan O'Brien and Megan Nichols led the team with 10 points each. Allison Horne scored six points and the Panthers stole the ball 18 times.

Team members are: Susan O'Brien, Meghan Nichols, Alison Horne, Kristina Belvin, Emily Espeleta, Arianne Beale, Michelle Callen, Kristin Blumberg, Whitney Ordway, Neville Mills, Di Lacose, Courtney Bureau, and Erin Houghtaling. The team is coached by Vickie Sproul.
