Women study Esther

A women's Bible study on the book of Esther starts in January at New Hope Baptist Church. Registration for this winter session of the Joy of Life Women's Bible Study began Dec. 6 and continues through Jan. 3. Cost is $15.

Two times are available: Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. at New Hope's north campus (childcare is free); and Thursday mornings at 9:15 a.m. at the south campus (childcare is $10). The session begins Jan. 13/14 and ends Feb. 24/25.

Festival of Christmas tops church holiday schedule

Peachtree City United Methodist Church invites the public to celebrate Christmas with three free events planned at the church.

The Festival of Christmas, featuring the Chancel Choir, church orchestra and drama ministry, will be presented Sunday at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m.

The Children's Christmas Eve service is set at 5 p.m. Dec. 24, and Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion will be held at 6, 8 and 10 p.m.

Peachtree City United Methodist Church is at the intersection of Peachtree Parkway South and Windgate Road.
